Environmental Totems:

  Butterflies and Wolves

During a one week workshop I guided 24 Grade 7 and 8 students through an intensive process of research, design and construction to create two cast concrete columns set in the school’s butterfly garden. One totem depicts the life cycle of the Monarch butterfly and the other the food chain of the wolf.
